International students studying under F-1 student visas are required by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to show a minimum financial ability during the admissions process in order to qualify for the issuance of a Form I-20 from the US institution. International undergraduate students who are first-year freshman or transferring to Ashland University from another school may be eligible to receive a renewable, merit-based scholarship if they meet certain qualifying cumulative grade point averages. Students must be pursuing their first bachelor's degree, enrolled full-time, and charged the AU comprehensive tuition rate.

Estimated Intensive English Program (ACCESS) Tuition & Fees

International students that have not met the minimum English language proficiency requirement for direct admission may be required to enroll in Ashland University’ English language training program, ACCESS, prior to starting academic classes. Students length of study depends on English abilities which will be assessed during orientation for placement into one of three levels. Though students may study for shorter than a year, estimated expenses on the Form I-20 will be based on the yearly estimated expenses (2 semesters) to maintain full-time status under an F-1 student visa.

Estimated Graduate Tuition & Fees

The Richard E. and Sandra J. Dauch College of Business and Economics’ world-class MBA program offers international students flexibility in their educational pursuit. International students studying under an F-1 student visa are required to maintain full-time status by taking a minimum of six (6) credit hours per semester for two out of three semester per academic year. Two popular in-person MBA programs at Ashland University for international students are the Traditional MBA Program and the One-Year International MBA Program.
